Job Overview:
As an Event Assistant (Temp) for Anime Festival Asia Singapore 2023, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of the event. You will be responsible for managing displays, assisting in directing visitors and keeping an eye on the exhibits. You may also be assigned other ad-hoc tasks as required to support the event’s success.

Key Responsibilities:
Exhibit Management
- Set up and maintain exhibit displays, ensure that they are organized and well-presented
- Monitor exhibits to prevent damage, theft, or vandalism
- Answer visitors’ queries and provide information about exhibits and artists
Visitor Assistance
- Greet and direct visitors, ensure that they have a positive and memorable experience
- Assist in crowd control and ensure a safe and orderly flow of visitors
- Address visitor inquiries and provide assistance when needed
Security and Vandalism Prevention
- Keep a watchful eye on exhibits to prevent any unauthorized handling or vandalism
- Report any security concerns or incidents to the Event Security Team promptly
Requirements
- Passion for anime, manga, and Japanese pop culture
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Proactive and responsible with strong attention to details
- Able to work collaboratively in a team
- Be flexible and willing to assist with other event-related tasks as required
- Able to stand for extended period of time and work flexible hours
- Prior event or customer service experience, as well as knowledge of Bushiroad’s contents is a plus
