Senior Accounts Executive |
|
Job Description:
- Work with team to ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to management
- Liaise with Japan HQ for accounts-related matters
- Assist Team Leader in financial analysis, reporting and consolidation
- Prepare monthly costing and accounting records for TCG products
- Prepare inventory reconciliation and quarterly inventory revaluation
- Keep track of accruals and prepayments
- Review local and overseas payments and records
- Prepare and compute S45 withholding tax
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and perform monthly intercompany reconciliation
- Coordinate and liaise with auditor / tax agent / IRAS / any external parties whenever required
- Review and discuss accounting treatment on new products / current procedures with team leader
- Constantly adapting to review and improve internal control and workflow

Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Accountancy or Finance
- Candidate with at least 3 years of relevant working experience is required
- Candidate with ACCA / CA / CPA qualification in an added advantage
- Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese, both written and oral, in order to liaise with Japanese speaking associates daily (Minimum JLPT N3 competency required)
- Well-versed in MS Office
- Meticulous and attentive to details
- Excellent at schedule management and multi-tasking
- Hand-on experience with MYOB / ABSS Systems will be advantageous
- Adept at working both independently and in a team
- Effective decision-making skills and strong problem-solving skills
- Sensitive to cultural and linguistic nuances
- Open to work on some weekends/public holidays for Company events
- Open to travel overseas for business trips when required
- Able to start work immediately or within short notice
