Regulations

Regulations on “Language Restriction”, “Sleeving” and “Eligibility of Cards” are the same as regional qualifiers.
Clan Fight and Sideboard rulings are also applicable to Cardfight!! Vanguard and Future Card Buddyfight tournaments respectively at Continental Championships and World Finals.

Tournament Format for Continental Championships

* For Asia-Oceania, Weiss Schwarz tournament format will be Round Robin.

Finalists’ Prizes

For Regional Qualifier Winners

Finalist who obtains a Top 4 position in Bushiroad World Championship tournaments may receive a certificate of that position and the game played.

Top finalists may also receive invitations to respective Continental Championships or World Final directly. Winners’ travel and accommodation expenses to Continental Championships / World Final may be provided. Please refer to the details in the table below.

If the winner is from the same city or town as where the Continental Championship is held, no accommodation will be provided. Invitation must be confirmed within 7 days in order to secure the invitation. Invited players are requited to arrange visa by themselves if necessary.

Players who have received an invitation from a previous World Championship 2015 tournament will NOT be eligible for another invitation. The invitation will be passed down to the next position if the winner has already received an invitation.

For Continental Championship Winners

Continental Championships winner will receive an invitation to participate in World Finals in Japan. Travel and accommodation expenses will be provided. Please find the number of invitees from respective Continental Championship below:

Mexico Cardfight!! Vanguard Regional Qualifier, Italy Weiss Schwarz Regional Qualifier, Spain Cardfight!! Vanguard Regional Qualifier (Clanwars Finals) and France Cardfight!! Vanguard and Weiss Schwarz [updated] Champions will join above finalists in World Finals.

Commemorative PR Cards for Continental Championships and World Finals Participants

Special commemorative cards will be given to Continental Championship and/or World Final Invitees! Participants of the Continental Championships and World Finals may receive the following cards with hot-stamp:

Every player is entitled to one PR card per type only. Invitees may only receive the above-mentioned hot-stamp PR cards by participating in the respective Continental Championships and/or World Finals. Invitees fail to participate in Continental Championships and/or World Finals may not receive the PR cards. Infomation is subject to change. Terms and conditions apply.

Special Arrangements

Subject to production schedule. Invitees need participate in World Finals / Mexico Reqional Qualifier Top 8 to receive the PR cards.

Side Events

Free FightsAvailable in North America/Latin America Only

Free Fight is a format to play simply for fun without competition. Participants can go in and out freely during the Free Fight time. Fighters will be randomly matched against a new opponent after each match.

Free Fight is available for Cardfight!! Vanguard, Future Card Buddyfight and Weiss Schwarz in all World Championship locations across North America and Latin America.

Free Fights are available for all the three games: Cardfight!! Vanguard, Weiss Schwarz and Future Card Buddyfight.

Future Card Buddyfight Junior ChampionshipAvailable in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines

Junior Championship is similar to and runs concurrently with the Bushiroad World Championship 2015 program, but is tailored for young fighters and below and uses Best of 1 in the format.

Champions do not receive any invitation to compete in further events.
Age limit depends on the education system used on the host country:
Eg. Primary 6 and below for British education system.
Grade 6 and below for Japanese education system.

Tournament Structure

8-Man-Win-A-PR Available at Some Locations only

“8-Man-Win-A-PR” is a mini-tournament that will be conducted as soon as 8 players have signed up. The tournaments are available for all three games: Cardfight!! Vanguard, Future Card Buddyfight & Weiss Schwarz at some World Championship locations.

Availability of “8-Man-Win-A-PR” tournaments is subject to the location and the availabiy of PR goods.
