Events Executive

Job Description

  • Organize Bushiroad’s official trading card games tournament circuits that take place worldwide (from the start to the end)
  • Recommend and execute creative enhancements that boost publicity, generate engagement for various Bushiroad’s events and tournaments circuits
  • Manage shop tournaments
  • Manage PR materials to be used at events
  • Manage events budgets, expenses and negotiate for best rates
  • Manage / support other events (including mobile gaming)
  • Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of events
Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Events Management/Operations, Marketing or related field
  • Candidates with 2-3 years of relevant working experience would be preferred
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
  • Knowledge in our trading card games would be advantageous
  • Must have basic knowledge of social media management
  • Well-organized and meticulous with an eye for detail
  • Adaptable and innovative, with a problem-solving attitude
  • Excellent at schedule management and multi-tasking
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Open to work on some weekends/public holidays for Company events
  • Open to travel overseas for business trips when required
Good to Have

  • Experience in playing Bushiroad’s trading card games (TCGs) will be a bonus
  • Knowledge of Japanese language would be advantageous in order to liaise with Japanese speaking associates

Bushiroad Inc. announces that the Steam store page for the PC version of the digital battle card game “Cardfight!! Vanguard Dear Days” (VGDD) has officially opened.


The brand-new original story which features game-original character Yuki Ichidoji (CV. Yuka Nishio) as the protagonist who, in hopes of reviving a legendary team, faces off against formidable fighters and grows stronger, is planned to be available in both English and Japanese.


Additionally, you can advance in the story to unlock new stories for Yuki’s brother, Rasen Ichidoji (CV. Marina Inoue) as well as overDress characters, including Yu-yu Kondo (CV. Shouta Aoi), Danji Momoyama (CV. Yuki Ono), and Tohya Ebata (CV. Yuma Uchida)! VGDD-exclusive tales await!


There are lots of play modes to choose from! Play solo casually in the “Story Mode,” practice with “CPU Fight,” challenge friends in “Friend Fight,” and enjoy a host of other features to enjoy the world of Vanguard in your own way.

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in any field
  • Candidate with 2-3 years of relevant working experience would be preferred

Are Japanese edition cards allowed in Shop Challenge tournaments?

No, only English edition cards may be used. No mixing of multiple languages in the deck is allowed too.

Am I allowed to switch decks and/or change cards in the midst of a tournament?

Participants are NOT allowed to switch decks or change cards in the tournament.

Should I sleeve the cards? May I use different sleeves for Imaginary Gift markers and G units (Cardfight!! Vanguard)?

Yes, you are required to use opaque card sleeves so that the back of cards cannot be easily distinguished. Maximum 2 layers of sleeves are allowed. Only licensed sleeves are allowed.

Cardfight!! Vanguard Standard:
You MUST use different card sleeves from your main deck for your Ride Deck.

You may use different card sleeves from your main deck for your G units.

Cardfight!! Vanguard V Premium & Premium:
You may choose to sleeve your Imaginary Gift Markers. However, if you do, you MUST use different card sleeves from your main deck for your Imaginary Gift markers.

Cardfight!! Vanguard Premium:
You MUST use different card sleeves from your main deck for your G units.

Are there any entry fees?

Entry fees may be charged at each shop’s discretion for Shop Challenges. There are no entry fees to any tournament in the Bushiroad Championship Series 2022 Regional Championships. However, players may have to pay to enter the venue if a Regional Championship is held within another event which requires an entry fee.

If I am not the citizen of any countries in the region where a Regional Championship is held but I am currently residing in a country in that region, am I able to participate in that Shop Challenge or Regional Championship?

Yes, you are allowed to participate in the Shop Challenges/Regional Championship in the same region as you are currently residing (North/Latin America, Europe and Asia-Oceania), regardless of your nationality.

If I am not the citizen of any countries in the region where a Shop Challenge or Regional Championship is held and I am NOT currently residing in a country in that region, am I able to participate in that Shop Challenge or Regional Championship?

Yes, you are allowed to participate. Please note that winners receiving both the sponsored and non-sponsored invites must be players currently residing in the respective regions.
If the winner is not currently residing in the respective region, the invite will be passed down.
However, this is limited between players of 1st to 4th place. The winner will still be able to receive the other prizes (i.e. Champion PR, Certificate or Trophy).

Eligibility

All fighters may participate in the Shop Challenges / Regional Championship.
There will be a region lock on the eligibility of receiving invites to World Finals.

The event is grouped into 3 regions:

  • North America / Latin America
  • Europe
  • Asia-Oceania
Language Only English edition cards may be used.
Cards Certain Weiß Schwarz Titles may not be used at specific BCS2022 locations.
(more information on specific titles will be announced soon)

Cards from new expansions can only be used 2 weeks after the official release dates for BCS2022 Regional Championships & Shop Challenges.

*Hololive Production Premium Booster will only be legal for use in BCS2022 tournaments 2 weeks after its release date (September 30th).

Cards from expansions which are available after Sneak Preview / Pre-sale events are not allowed for use in the tournaments until 2 weeks after the expansions are officially released.

Deck A player must use the same deck throughout a tournament. No switching of cards is permitted in between games within a tournament.
Entry Fee Shops are allowed to charge a token entry fee.
A player should be awarded (e.g. booster packs, tournament promos, besides the Door Gifts) if an entry fee is charged.
Sleeving Fighters are required to use opaque card sleeves so that the back of cards cannot be easily distinguished.
Oversleeves with a Matte finishing on one side and Gloss finishing on the other side are allowed. However, the Matte finishing has to be uniform throughout, on either the front or back of the cards.
Oversleeves with patterns or borders are not allowed.

For VGE-S, VGE-V, VGE-P: You are not allowed to use Standard sized sleeves for your main deck

Sleeves used for all cards must be of the same design unless otherwise stated.

Exception:
VGE-S: Ride Deck
VGE-V & VGE-P: Imaginary Gift markers & G-deck (if any)

VGE-S: You MUST use different card sleeves from your main deck for your Ride Deck.

VGE-V & VGE-P: You may choose to sleeve your Imaginary Gift Markers. However, if you do, you MUST use different card sleeves from your main deck for your Imaginary Gift markers.

VGE-P: You MUST use different card sleeves from your main deck for your G units.

Time-Out Policy Players have 10 minutes to finish the 3 extra turns. After 10 minutes or end of the third turn, whichever comes first, the winner is decided in the following manner:

・Cardfight!! Vanguard: The player with less damage wins the game. If the damage is the same, the game ends in a double loss.

・Weiss Schwarz: The player with the lower level wins the game. If the level is the same, the player with less clock wins the game. If the clock is the same, the game ends in a double loss.

In top-cut, players will have 10 minutes to finish 3 extra turns. After 10 minutes or end of the third turn, whichever comes first, the winner is decided in the following manner:

Players with less damage/lower clock/less clock wins the game. If the damage/clock is the same, both players play until the next instance of damage is taken/healed. The player with less damage/lower level/ less clock wins the game.
