Frequently Asked Questions

Are Japanese edition cards allowed in the main tournaments?

No, only English edition cards may be used in the main tournaments. No mixing of multiple languages in the deck is allowed too.

Am I allowed to switch decks and/or change cards in the midst of a tournament?

Participants are NOT allowed to switch decks or change cards in the tournament.

Should I sleeve the cards? May I use different sleeves for Imaginary Gift markers and G units (Cardfight!! Vanguard)?

Yes, you are required to use opaque card sleeves so that the back of cards cannot be easily distinguished. Maximum 2 layers of sleeves are allowed. Only licensed sleeves are allowed.

Cardfight!! Vanguard Standard:
You MUST use different card sleeves from your main deck for your Ride Deck.

Cardfight!! Vanguard V-Premium & Premium:
You may choose to sleeve your Imaginary Gift Markers. However, if you do, you MUST use different card sleeves from your main deck for your Imaginary Gift markers.

Cardfight!! Vanguard Premium:
You MUST use different card sleeves from your main deck for your G units.

Am I allowed to use my own card supplies (sleeves, deck cases, playmats) in Regional Championship tournaments?

Yes, you are allowed to use your own card supplies as long as they are licensed products. It is prohibited to use any unlicensed card supplies.

Can I play other card games at a Regional Championship?

No. Players are only allowed to play Bushiroad card games at the Regional Championship tournaments, unless another sanctioned card game tournament is taking place at the same venue.

Are there any entry fees?

Entry fees may be charged at each shop’s discretion for Shop Challenges. There are no entry fees to any tournament in the Bushiroad Spring Fest 2023 Regional Championships. However, players may have to pay to enter the venue if a Regional Championship is held within another event which requires an entry fee.

If I am not the citizen of any countries in the region where a Regional Championship is held but I am currently residing in a country in that region, am I able to participate in that Shop Challenge or Regional Championship?

Yes, you are allowed to participate in the Shop Challenges/Regional Championship in the same region as you are currently residing (North/Latin America, Europe and Asia-Oceania), regardless of your nationality.

If I am not the citizen of any countries in the region where a Shop Challenge or Regional Championship is held and I am NOT currently residing in a country in that region, am I able to participate in that Shop Challenge or Regional Championship?

Yes, you are allowed to participate.

Singapore (January 17, 2024) – Bushiroad International will be announcing new products and collaborations at the upcoming Bushiroad English Conference Winter 2024.

The video will premiere on the Bushiroad Official Channel on YouTube at the following times:

Job Overview: As an Event Assistant (Temp) for Anime Festival Asia Singapore 2023, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of the event. Event Details

Participants can only sign up for one event each day. If multiple entries are found, they will be removed.
Tournament Registration will be done within the Bushiroad EXPO hall and will close at 11am sharp. Latecomers will not be entertained.
We highly suggest that participants have breakfast before coming to the event as no meal breaks are planned.
Bottled drinks and packet snacks are allowed for this event. However, please maintain proper hygiene and do not litter at the event hall.

Ticket Redemption & Entry Details

Applicants with "Selected" status on BushiNavi must report to Suntec Convention Centre Room 332 on the 3rd floor between 8:30 to 9:15 am with their constructed decks to collect their passes. Applicants with "Waiting List" status on BushiNavi may choose to queue up there, and remaining passes will be distributed on a first come first serve basis starting from 9:15 am.
Players who have qualified for the Shadowverse: Evolve Regional Qualifiers must report to Suntec Convention Centre Room 332 on the 3rd floor between 8:30 to 9:15 am with their constructed decks to collect their passes.
Participants who have received the wristband will be escorted to the event fast lane, where they will be able to enter the venue between 9:30am to 10:00am through the Hall 405 doors. Subsequent entries past 10am must be through the main Hall 403/404 doors.
Upon entering, participants will be escorted to the tournament area and held there until the conclusion of Round 2.
Any participant who is discovered to be taking part without intending to play in the tournament will have their wristband removed and escorted out of the event venue.
The registration for BCS 2023 will be opening on 27th October 2023, 4pm SGT
