Job Description:

  • This position is responsible for supporting event planning as well as ensuring the whole event works smoothly.
Primary Duties:

  • Working within the team to plan, organize, promote, and execute events, mainly tournaments, of our Trading Card Game brands in order to provide enjoyment to our community.
  • Ensure given responsibilities are carried out accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Provide own input and creativeness to improve each project.
  • Liasing with other internal teams and offices as well as external parties as needed to carry out the tasks.
  • Assist other team’s projects when necessary, such as operating conventions, packing and shipping out items to stores.
Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Driver’s license required
  • Experience in playing Bushiroad TCGs
  • Experience in organizing and running events
  • Experience in video shooting, editing, and streaming
  • Japanese and/or Spanish language skills
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Preferred Characteristics:

  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent at managing tasks, schedules, and multi-tasking.
  • Curious and eager to learn new things.
  • Experience in a leadership role.
  • Experience in trading card games and participation in events.
Pay Ranges

Job Description:

  • Work with team to ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to management
  • Liaise with Japan HQ for accounts-related matters
  • Assist Team Leader in financial analysis, reporting and consolidation
  • Prepare monthly costing and accounting records for TCG products
  • Prepare inventory reconciliation and quarterly inventory revaluation
  • Keep track of accruals and prepayments
  • Review local and overseas payments and records
  • Prepare and compute S45 withholding tax
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and perform monthly intercompany reconciliation
  • Coordinate and liaise with auditor / tax agent / IRAS / any external parties whenever required
  • Review and discuss accounting treatment on new products / current procedures with team leader
  • Constantly adapting to review and improve internal control and workflow
Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Accountancy or Finance
  • Candidate with at least 3 years of relevant working experience is required
  • Candidate with ACCA / CA / CPA qualification in an added advantage
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese, both written and oral, in order to liaise with Japanese speaking associates daily (Minimum JLPT N3 competency required)

Events Executive
Job Description:

  • Organize Bushiroad’s official trading card games tournament circuits that take place worldwide (from the start to the end)
  • Recommend and execute creative enhancements that boost publicity, generate engagement for various Bushiroad’s events and tournaments circuits
  • Manage shop tournaments
  • Manage PR materials to be used at events
  • Manage events budgets, expenses and negotiate for best rates
  • Manage / support other events (including mobile gaming)
  • Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of events
Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Events Management/Operations, Marketing or related field
  • Candidates with 2-3 years of relevant working experience would be preferred
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
  • Knowledge in our trading card games would be advantageous
  • Must have basic knowledge of social media management
  • Well-organized and meticulous with an eye for detail
  • Adaptable and innovative, with a problem-solving attitude
  • Excellent at schedule management and multi-tasking
