Introduction
With the absence of big scale physical events due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Bushiroad Spring Fest 2021 Online aims to fill in the gap with an online event. Stand to win great prizes as you battle with people from all over the world!
This is a special online event that will be held via Discord and will happen on:
1st Weekend: 29th – 30th May
2nd Weekend: 5th – 6th June
Bushiroad Spring Fest 2021 Online (BSFO 2021) comprises of the following 4 main tournaments:
– Cardfight!! Vanguard Standard (VGE-S)
– Cardfight!! Vanguard V Premium (VGE-V)
– Cardfight!! Vanguard Premium (VGE-P)
– Weiss Schwarz (WSE)
Overall Tournament Overview/Structure
- There will only be 1 level of tournament.
- The Shop League will run an individual tournament format for all games.
- This circuit will run in 3 different time zones in order to accommodate each region.
- Asia Oceania (AO) Time Zone
- Europe (EU) Time Zone
- North America/Latin America (NA/LA) Time Zone
- All tournaments are open to all participants regardless of the participant’s region of residence.
- Pre-registration is required for and will be open for approximately 7 days before the tournament (check “Schedule” for more information).
- Check-in is compulsory and will commence before the start of each tournament.
- Priority will be given to those that have pre-registered.
- Maximum number of participants each tournament are as follows:
- VGE-S: 256 participants
- VGE-V: 128 participants
- VGE-P: 128 participants
- WSE: 128 participants

General Regulations

Eligibility | All fighters may participate. |
Language | Only English edition cards may be used. |
Cards |
Cards from new expansions are legal to use from the expansion’s official release date. Cards from expansions which are available after Sneak Preview / Pre-sale events are not allowed for use in the tournaments until the expansions are officially released. |
Deck | A player must use the same deck throughout a tournament. No switching of cards is permitted in between games within a tournament. |
Sleeving |
Fighters are required to use opaque card sleeves so that the back of cards cannot be easily distinguished.

Deck Registration |
It is mandatory to register the deck (submit the deck list) upon tournament registration. Discrepancies between the deck list and actual deck used in the tournament may result in a penalty. |

Deck Check | To avoid disputes and cases of cheating, we would require all participants to fill in Deck Registration Forms, which include their deck list and a media release agreement before registering for the tournaments. |

FAQ
Are Japanese edition cards allowed in the main tournaments?
No, only English edition cards may be used in the main tournaments. No mixing of multiple languages in the deck is allowed too.
Am I allowed to switch decks and/or change cards in the midst of a tournament?
Participants are NOT allowed to switch decks or change cards in the tournament.
Should I sleeve the cards? May I use different sleeves for Imaginary Gift markers and G units (Cardfight!! Vanguard)?
Yes, you are required to use opaque card sleeves so that the back of cards cannot be easily distinguished. Maximum 2 layers of sleeves are allowed. Only licensed sleeves are allowed.
Cardfight!! Vanguard Standard:
You MUST use different card sleeves from your main deck for your Ride Deck.
Cardfight!! Vanguard V Premium & Premium:
You may choose to sleeve your Imaginary Gift Markers. However, if you do, you MUST use different card sleeves from your main deck for your Imaginary Gift markers.
Cardfight!! Vanguard Premium:
You MUST use different card sleeves from your main deck for your G units.
Am I allowed to use my own card supplies (sleeves, deck cases, playmats)?
Yes, you are allowed to use your own card supplies as long as they are licensed products. It is prohibited to use any unlicensed card supplies.
If I do not reside in the region(s) that the tournament is held for, may I still participate in them? i.e. I live in AO region but would like to
participate in the EU or NA/LA time zone tournaments.
Yes, you are allowed to participate in any of the tournaments. However, please note that the tournaments for each region will be happening at different time zones and the swiss rounds may be run concurrently. Please kindly refrain from pre-registering for all 3 different time zones if you are not able to be present for the check-in and during tournaments.
