Singapore (July 15, 2024) – During the Bushiroad English Conference Summer 2024, Bushiroad International announced new products for their English edition trading card game titles Cardfight!! Vanguard, Weiß Schwarz, and Shadowverse: Evolve; as well as new competitive play initiatives.
The conference premiered on Bushiroad Official Channel on YouTube on Friday.
Cardfight!! Vanguard
Cardfight!! Vanguard celebrates its 11th anniversary this year! The anime series has aired since January 2011 and has since been adapted into manga, stage performances, and is featured in various events and collaborations. The trading card game has sold over 2 billion cards worldwide and attracts players of all ages.
The brand-new “Anime to Life! Showdown” tournament will run in August. Participants in this special tournament will be able to live out their own Fated Clash by using ride lines that appeared in the first season of CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD Divinez animation.
The third installment of Constructed Cup returns in September for the release of the third booster pack, Dimensional Transcendence. Participants may only use ride lines available in the third booster pack.
Fans of BanG Dream! and Yumenokessho will be able to take part in the Yumenokessho Cup this October with exclusive participation cards and playmats available to participants.
Vanguard Day returns in October with a special promo card and playmat featuring Hikari from CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD Divinez animation.

Weiß Schwarz
With over 80 collaboration titles, Weiß Schwarz allows players to relive climactic moments from their favorite anime or video game titles in an exciting, fast-paced card game. English Edition Originals (ENO) were introduced in 2019 with titles catered towards the international market.
Dive into the magical realm with Trial Deck & Booster Pack Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, releasing on November 22.
An aerial extravaganza awaits when Premium Booster Macross Delta releases on December 13.
NIKKE arrives on the stage of Weiß Schwarz in April 2025. More information will be announced soon.
Players in Asia will be able to take part in interactive demo sessions conducted by Bushiroad staff this October. All participants will receive an exclusive toploader, as well as a promo card featuring Spider-Man.

Shadowverse: Evolve
Shadowverse: Evolve is a competitive trading card game where players battle using one of six different classes, summoning followers and casting spells to defeat their opponents. The gameplay closely follows the digital collectible card game, with the inclusion of new mechanics that allow for new ways to play.
The seventh booster set, Verdant Steel, will launch on November 22.
This set features fan-favorite characters from Naterra and Aiolon, like Ladica and Mono.
Every box of Verdant Steel will also include a random pack of 10 exclusive card sleeves featuring artwork of Cynthia, the Queen’s Blade; Valdain, Cursed Shadow; Kudlak; and Limonia, Flawed Saint. Note that, these sleeves will only be available in the first print of the product.
To celebrate the release of Verdant Steel, official Bushiroad stores will be holding special release tournaments from December 20, 2024, to January 20, 2025.
All participants will receive one card pack that includes one special foiled version of Naterran Great Tree, Repair Mode, or Assembly Droid, while the champion will walk away with a Super Legendary promo version of Aenea, Amethyst Rebel featuring the set logo.
The promo cards for the upcoming shop tournaments from August to November were revealed. Each week, the champion will receive a Super Legendary promo version of Feena, Dynamite Daredevil for Promo Series 7, and Yuzuki, Righteous Demon for Promo Series 8! One copy of each card will also be available via lucky draw.
The second season of Gloryfinder Clash will kick off in October. All participants will receive a promo version of Dimension Shift featuring the Gloryfinder format logo.
The first Grand Showdown will be streamed on YouTube on September 21. The casters for the first Grand Showdown will be Ignideus and Red Zone Rogue, who were also our casters for the Shadowverse: Evolve World Invitational 2023 World Finals earlier this year.
The second season of the Showdown Series will start in October, culminating in Grand Showdown Singapore 2024. Grand Showdown Singapore 2024 will be held in Singapore at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre on December 21.
Genesis Dragon, Swordsman, and an alternate-art Super Legendary promo version of Spinaria, Keeper of Enigmas will be available as promo cards during the Showdown Challenges of this season. The champions of each Showdown Challenge will also receive a Bye Card that can be used at Grand Showdown Singapore 2024.
Players who place highly will also receive promo cards that come with an exclusive hot-stamp color for Grand Showdown Singapore 2024. The next Grand Showdown in Europe will also feature a different exclusive hot-stamp color.
Events
The restriction lists for both Cardfight!! Vanguard and Weiß Schwarz were announced and will take effect on August 9.
The Bushiroad Championship Series 24/25 season will start in September with the shop challenges.
Regional Qualifiers will start in October, with the first regional in Sacramento, California (USA). All participants will receive an exclusive tote bag and one promo card pack for the game format they participated in.
There will also be various side events for players to take part in at each Regional Qualifier event.
Judges will be able to look forward to brand-new promo cards available for redemption from the start of the 24/25 season.
