Regulations & Guidelines for Webcam Usage

    – All hand cards to be on screen at all times (if you wish to move your hands off screen, please put the cards in your hand on the field).
    – Entire Field (Deck, hand, drop zone, damage zone, memory, stock, clock, flag, order zone, ride deck, etc.) has to be visible at all times.
    – Ensure all equipment are charged and functioning properly
    – Ideal set-up: Camera at an angle where you can see the player’s hands at all times

    Example of an ideal set-up

    Throughout the tournament

Cards leaving the camera: Once = Warning, Twice = Game Loss
Disconnected from the table: Once = Warning, Twice = Game loss

Should you face any video feed issues and want to reconnect, call a judge first before attempting to reconnect.
If the player connects, then disconnects, they have 5 minutes to reconnect before they are awarded a game loss.

    How to call a judge,

    1. Inform your opponent that you’re calling a judge. The game is paused.
    2. Leave your cards in your hand on the table as well, all cards must be visible
    3. Call a judge by pinging “@Judge Table Number x” (Judge Roles will be available in the Discord Servers)
    4. Only proceed after the Judge has entered the voice channel

    Shuffling
As cutting your opponent’s deck is not possible through webcam tournaments, after shuffle, players must cut their deck into 3 equal piles and label the piles as 1, 2 and 3.
Your opponent will get to choose the order in which the piles will be stacked.

    Recording
Players are strongly recommended to record their own matches as video proof for ruling disputes.
However, you are not allowed to stream your matches.

    Penalties
If you are unsure of the amount of warnings you have received, you may always check with the judge.

Preparation Time (after pairings and before start of the round)
Players have 5 minutes to get into your respective tables before the start of the round.
After the start of the round, if the opponent is still not at the table, you get a walk over.
*A walkover refers to awarding the victory to the participant whose opponent did not show up within 5 minutes after the start of the round

    Time-Keeping
Organisers/Judges will announce the time remaining (5 or 10 minutes) before the end of the round.
Each player is responsible for their own time-keeping should they miss out on the notifications and pings from the judges.

Notice – Card abilities that would be affected in webcam tournaments

Please note that due to the limitations of online tournaments, for cards with abilities that allows a player to look at their opponent’s deck, the opponent will have to reveal those cards instead (which would otherwise be in the hidden zone).

    Time-up Policy

Players have 10 minutes to finish the 3 extra turns. After 10 minutes or end of the third turn, whichever comes first, the winner is decided in
    the following manner:

    • Cardfight!! Vanguard: The player with less damage wins the game. If the damage is the same, the game ends in a double
      loss.
    • Future Card Buddyfight: The player with more life wins the game. If the life is the same, the game ends in a double loss. The starting player for games 2-3 will be decided by the loser of the previous game.
    • Weiss Schwarz: The player with lower level wins the game. If the level is the same, the player with less clock wins
the game. If the clock is the same, the game ends in a double loss.

In the top-cut, after 3 extra turns, the game will be decided by sudden death.

Deck Check To avoid disputes and cases of cheating, we would require all participants to fill in Deck Registration Forms, which include their deck list and a media release agreement before registering for the tournaments.

INVICTUS: Lost Soul announces global launch and collaboration with Cardfight!! Vanguard

SINGAPORE (March 1, 2021) – Bushiroad International announces global release of INVICTUS: Lost Soul (excluding certain regions), a real-time PvP fighting game available on App Store and Google Play Store. At the same time, it will be launching a time-limited collaboration with its own popular trading card game franchise, “Cardfight!! Vanguard”, starting from March 1st.

    INVICTUS: Lost Soul Releases Globally

INVICTUS: Lost Soul is a 3D mobile game that allows players to enjoy real-time PvP fights controlled by decks of cards. You will be able to choose among a total of over 90 cards, including Attack, Defense and Support types, and over 200 equipment and armor pieces that will lead to the victory of your fights against players from around the world.

Journey through 6 different realms in Story Mode

The Story Mode allows you to discover the world of INVICTUS with various maps and scenarios, and the beautiful opening cutscene of each Episode.

Travel through different dimensions in the search of terrible Damon to revenge him for infinite deaths you suffer along the way. Fight on the ice of Viking river, in the shadows of dead Dragon’s bones, in the hell of Inferno, and even in a strange Cyber world.

Claim your victory using Decks of strikes and moves

The outcome of fights relies on cards of a deck, so you may want to choose them wisely and at the perfect timing. Look for card upgrades and experiment with decks while selecting from a total of over 90 cards. It’s a game that requires tactics with your own deck!

Collect Weapons and Armor sets and various skins to customize

Make your choice between Long Sword, Sword & Shield, or Great Weapon, and equip yourself in the best armor you could find and enhance their powers. Also, whatever you choose, you may customize your appearance with a variety of charming armor and weapon skins that stand out.

In addition, the “Limit Break” feature allows you to use in-game Shards to maximize the equipment stats, with a possibility to obtain a rare special ability “Perk” for your equipment! Collect as much equipment and Shards as possible to become the strongest!

Collaboration with “Cardfight!! Vanguard” starts now!

From March 1st, 2021 to March 21st, a series of special events in collaboration with “Cardfight!! Vanguard” will take place, including a Special Login Campaign, exclusive armor skins and many more!

Special Login Campaign celebrating global release & collaboration

To celebrate the global release and the collaboration with “Cardfight!! Vanguard”, all players will be able to log in during the event and receive grand rewards for 7 days! Just enter the game on Day 1 and you will get the legendary sword, “Blaster Blade (Long Sword)”, from “Cardfight!! Vanguard”!

Free Blaster Blade armor skin from Season Pass!

“Season Pass” is a time-limited event where players may complete certain missions or actions to unlock Season Pass levels and obtain rewards. FAQ

Are Japanese edition cards allowed in the main tournaments?

No, only English edition cards may be used in the main tournaments. No mixing of multiple languages in the deck is allowed too.

Am I allowed to switch decks and/or change cards in the midst of a tournament?

Participants are NOT allowed to switch decks or change cards in the tournament, except for what has been stated in sideboard ruling for Future Card Buddyfight

Should I sleeve the cards? May I use different sleeves for Imaginary Gift markers and G units (Cardfight!! Vanguard) / Buddy Monster and/or Flag (Future Card Buddyfight)?

Yes, you are required to use opaque card sleeves so that the back of cards cannot be easily distinguished. Maximum 2 layers of sleeves are allowed. Only licensed sleeves are allowed.

    Cardfight!! Vanguard:
You may choose to sleeve your Imaginary Gift Markers. However, if you do, you MUST use different card sleeves from your main deck for your Imaginary Gift markers.

You may use different card sleeves from your main deck for your G units.

    Future Card Buddyfight:
You should use the same card sleeves for the whole deck, including main and sideboard cards, as well as the Buddy Monster. However, you are allowed to use a different sleeve for your Flag card.

You MUST use different card sleeves for Lost World Deck in order to differentiate your Main Deck from your Lost World Deck.

Am I allowed to use my own card supplies (sleeves, deck cases, playmats) in Shop Challenges & Regional Championship tournaments?

Yes, you are allowed to use your own card supplies as long as they are licensed products. It is prohibited to use any unlicensed card supplies.

Can I purchase cards from other players at Shop Challenges & Regional Championship tournaments?

No. Players may trade cards, but are not allowed to buy/sell cards from other players at our events.

For countries that are unable to host physical tournaments, are we allowed to host them online?

Bushiroad International Announces Partnership with True Axion Interactive to Publish Mobile Game “INVICTUS: Lost Soul”

Singapore (August 11, 2020) – Bushiroad International Pte. Ltd. has announced a partnership with True Axion Interactive to publish their flagship mobile game, INVICTUS: Lost Soul. Under this partnership, the game will be soft launched in the following countries: Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, and Singapore soon within August 2020.

    About INVICTUS: Lost Soul

INVICTUS: Lost Soul is a real-time card controlled PvP fighting game featuring skill-based combat via accessible controls.

Unleash the warrior within through fights controlled by decks of cards! Build a deck of cards, then fight in real time to become the best in the world!

FIGHT REAL-TIME PLAYERS VS PLAYER COMBAT
You will fight one-on-one against warriors from all around the world! To crush them, you’ll need to learn combos of strikes and think tactically. Don’t let them trap you into a corner, and slash them to death instead!

    JOURNEY THROUGH SIX DIFFERENT REALMS
Travel through different dimensions in search of terrible Damon to get your revenge for the infinite deaths you suffer along the way. Fight on the ice of Viking rivers, in the shadows of Dragon bones, in the hells of Inferno, and even in a strange Cyber world.

COMPILE THE DECKS OF STRIKES AND MOVES
The outcomes of your fights will rely on your deck of cards as much as your skill. Each card represents a strike, block or other moves, so choose them wisely! Look for card upgrades and experiment with various deck, weapon and armor combinations – sometimes one heavy hit will decide it all, but sometimes a rain of light strikes will overwhelm your opponent!

    COLLECT WEAPONS AND ARMOR SETS
Make your choice between a long sword, a sword and shield, or a great weapon! Protect yourself with the best armor you can find. Enhance your weapons and armor and find magic upgrades to help win each battle.

    PARTICIPATE IN CLAN TOURNAMENTS
It’s dangerous to go alone – so join a clan and jump into clan tournaments where you can win prizes and glory for yourself and your comrades-in-arms!

Slash your way through the ranks of enemies and become INVICTUS!
