On March 7, as COVID-19 began to spread globally, we announced potential disruptions to our tournament events throughout the world. Two weeks later, on March 19, we announced the cancellation of half of the BSF 2020 circuit, the suspension of monthly tournament events, as well as the delay of several of our upcoming products.
Since then, the situation has become less than desirable, and many cities are in varying levels of lockdown. As such, for the health and safety of all our players, partners, and staff, we have made the decision to cancel the rest of BSF2020.
We would like to take this opportunity to reassure our players that the various BSF2020 PR items, including Shop Challenge exchange PR cards, will be made available to our players at a later date. Stores that have postponed the Shop Challenge may still run the event when the situation in their countries allow, so that the Shop Challenge coupons can still be distributed. As the current situation is extremely volatile, we are unable to provide a concrete method of redemption at this time, but will provide solutions as soon as we can.
Our plans for the Bushiroad Championship Series 2020 that would have been held in the latter half of the year have been disrupted as well. We are monitoring the situation closely, and will provide updates as soon as we are able to.
We would like to seek your kind understanding for this matter, and urge everyone to comply with the safety regulations put in place by their governments in order to curb the spread of the pandemic.
